synopsis for the film :

"Aïpeur Foundou is a Congolese dancer and choreographer. Amidst some popular areas of Brazzaville, he shows us one possible way to freedom. »

. general information :

We shot the movie in Brazzaville (Congo) in 48 hours. Aïpeur Foundou, the dancer, mixes contemporary dancing and traditional Congolese movements. The poem is an original, written by Ronan Chéneau and myself, Matthieu Maunier-Rossi. It is written both in french and lari, the local dialect. And the narrator is Ella Ganga, who is also a dancer in Brazzaville. The river in the film is the Congo river, and Kinshasa can be spotted in the distance on the other bank. I directed and edited the film.
